Alec Couros

I'm Alec, a professor of educational technology and media and Director for the Centre for Teaching and Learning at the University of Regina. I have worked as a teacher, youth worker, educational administrator, IT coordinator, consultant, and professor, and I give keynote presentations and workshops on digital pedagogy, connected learning, digital citizenship, media literacy, and open education. I have taught students in many countries, helped organizations develop policies on social media and technology, and I am a father of four children whose perspectives I often bring into my work.
