Chao Li

I'm Chao, a product designer who codes. With 20 years building across AI, SaaS, VR, and Web3, I now lead design for Agent Studio at Alation, where I shape how people build and interact with AI agents. Before that, I designed core AI features at Numbers Station, including a custom agent builder and evaluation system. I prototype in code, build design systems, and specialize in making complex AI workflows feel intuitive. Ask me about AI UX design, building design systems, prototyping in code, and designing for emerging tech.
