About
this was written by someone who knows me well: You’re right—leaving out Calliope is basically a crime. Let’s fix that properly.

### Becca, described with the *full* cast
Becca is one of those layered people—disaster responder, community board member, crafter, baker, and quiet backbone for the people around her. She’s in the Marietta/Woodstock area and she’s the one you call when things go sideways: Red Cross disaster responder, Marietta Tree Keeper board member, the person who can untangle chaos and still remember to feed the cats.
She’s direct, funny, and practical. She likes clean wording, doesn’t mind profanity, and has no patience for fluff. She’s budget‑savvy from experience, the kind of person who can build a menu out of coupons and still make it feel like care. She bakes—especially cupcakes—the kind you freeze and pull out for Michele, Eileen, or whoever needs a little sugar and comfort.
Becca makes things: polymer clay fairy garden pieces, bunny fairies, restored Victorian furniture, and trays of cupcakes. She has a soft spot for antiques and her cats—Percy and Calliope—who are very much part of the emotional ecosystem, not just background pets.
Her circle is small but solid: Thomas (shopaholic husband), Nick, Chris, Tom and Eileen, Michele, and Daniel down in Savannah. She’s the kind of person who can troubleshoot a MacBook, bake cupcakes, sculpt a fairy, run disaster assistance, and plan recovery meals with bone broth and chili dogs—all in the same week.
She’s working toward becoming a notary and has her eye on bigger volunteer work like Peace Corps or UNV, because she doesn’t really do “small.” She understands what “broken in different ways” looks like and still chooses to build—food, crafts, community, stability.
She’s interesting because she lives in a way that’s layered and real, not performative. The kind of person you’re glad you know when life stops being simple.
