Wendy Luescher

I'm Wendy, a Millwork Specialist at Home Depot. I design doors, windows, storm doors, patio doors, garage doors, and interior and exterior doors for customers and turn what people envision into something real. Outside work, I build things in wood—furniture, projects for my kids, whatever I see in my head. I also make pens in my spare time. When I start each pen I don't think about what it is going to look like. As I work on the design that is when I think about how I want it to look like. I also take into account if when the design is finished will it be comfortable to hold onto and how it will feel to write with. Usually each pen is very unique in shape, color, and material. Some I give away and some I sell.
