I'm Brett, Software Engineering Director at Truist, where I lead teams building financial systems. I started obsessively coding at 12, building tools and games before YouTube or StackOverflow existed. That hobby turned into 15 years in financial tech, moving from developer to director.

Most recently I've been diving deep into AI agents and autonomous systems, exploring OpenAI Agents SDK, CrewAI, LangGraph, and Anthropic's MCP. I believe we're at a pivotal moment where AI will fundamentally transform how we build software.
