I survived a fatal car accident in 2002. I was in a coma for 6 weeks. It was recommended to put me in a room keep me comfortable until I died. He said I would be in a nursing home if I lived. I woke up and had to learn everything all over again. I moved to Cincinnati from upstate ny. I'm a motivational speaker and just had a book published. The best thing for a brain injury survivor is not more specialists. It's having someone to relate to. I understand what they are going through. Mental healing is the most important thing.
