Brian McCormick

I teach writing and media studies at Parsons School of Design and Lehman College, and run after-school arts programs for NYC high school students. I've published in The New York Times, The Advocate, and Dance Magazine, and spent two decades as contributing editor at Gay City News.

I created and ran the Baryshnikov Arts Center's after-school program and won the Linda LeRoy Janklow Teaching Artist of the Year award. I serve on the board of Pentacle/Dance Works and was on the Bessies Committee for a decade.
