Bita Ghassemi

I'm Bita, an Iranian-Texan filmmaker and director at PILLARBOXED. My films explore censorship, loss of innocence, and cultural duality. I've screened at SXSW and the Berlinale, directed commercial work for Meta and Adobe, and received the Austin Film Society grant for my short film Firewall. I'm the first Schwarzman Scholar of Iranian heritage.
