Contrary to what some trainers/exercise professionals think, skeletal muscles don’t “compete” for growth…you don’t miss out on growth of, say, your biceps if you also train chest and legs in the same session: https://t.co/HQ20ixqLuZ (another reason I personally do full body strength training 3-4 days/week for time mgmt, instead of body part splits).

So why sham-test a mattress topper at all? These devices are visible and noticeable, and sometimes you're in the phone app looking at data at night. That's exactly the setup where you'd expect people to feel better just because they “think” it's working. Turns out that just “thinking it’s working“ is not the case, and this thing actually works (I use mine every night as an affordable, low EMF mattress cooling option). Click here https://t.co/Fggu2iO4EE for the study I posted yesterday on the bed cooling device that I use called the “Orion“. Now here’s yet another study on @orionsleep : the first sham-controlled trial run in this device category, with 14 people, in two back-to-back 7-night sleep blocks.

Fifth and into more advanced stuff: radiofrequency (RF) microneedling, such as a Morpheus8 model. It treats down to about 4mm in the dermis, building collagen through controlled thermal injury. Good for mild to moderate laxity, face and body, but it will not fix hanging skin. You do this at a medical clinic.
Sixth, still advanced stuff: focused ultrasound (Ultherapy) works differently than RF. It reaches the skin layer at depths up to 4.5mm, the same structural layer addressed in a surgical facelift. It’s the only device FDA-cleared for lifting and tightening skin on the face and neck, including SMAS (superficial musculoaponeurotic system) which is a deep layer of tissue and muscle in the face.
Summary: I’d start with protein, hydration, collagen/EAA’s, and red light first. Go 6-12 months for your body to remodel naturally, then reassess. Move on to energy devices for mild skin laxity, biostimulators for facial volume, and surgery for big-time excess skin. Questions/thought? Go!
Seventh, Sculptra and Radiesse fillers don't fill space like hyaluronic acid. They release low-dose lactic acid that triggers your own fibroblasts to build new collagen. This is obviously also a medical clinic option, but you can easily look up locations that do this. https://t.co/8YYjYjudmF
Third, collagen peptides have real data behind them. A meta-analysis of 26 RCTs covering 1,721 people found a significant improvement in skin elasticity. 2.5-5g/day, hydrolyzed, minimum 8 weeks: https://t.co/O9l0BqmF5D (I personally opt for Essential Amino Acids (EAA’s) at 20g/day and then get another 20-30g collagen/day).
