Arta Moeini PhD

I'm the Research Director at the Institute for Peace & Diplomacy, where I focus on realist foreign policy and the role of ideology in shaping world politics. I hold a PhD in Political Thought and International Relations from Georgetown, where I also taught, and studied at Johns Hopkins SAIS and Berkeley.

I founded Agon magazine and specialize in Iran, the Middle East, and Central Asia. My work sits at the intersection of political theory and grand strategy, with a focus on Nietzsche, modernity, and post-liberalism.
