Ari Salafia

I've spent the last 12 years helping startup and middle-market businesses access governmental tax incentives (including but not limited to R&D Tax Credits, 179D deduction for energy-efficient commercial buildings etc.) and have returned over $100MM. I built TaxTaker, a tech-enabled tax incentive firm to make the processing of these incentives more accessible and cost-efficient. TaxTaker is headquartered in Austin, TX with employees across the country. I have raised institutional venture-capital money, debt, and family-office funding and share fundraising knowledge as a board member for the Austin Venture Association. I am a big advocate for female founders, and take time to community-build, host events, and speak on panels for women in technology, business building and fundraising. Recently, I became an Ambassador for the Central Texas chapter of the Sentinel Foundation, an incredible non-profit organization fighting to end child sex trafficking. All this is to say my professional and personal background shares an alignment on providing value and having values, leading with both empathy and boldness, and educating my audience on programs and opportunities they either lack access to, need awareness on, or need a trusted and vigilant partner for. With this Delphi, I aim to educate and amplify my reach for prospective and existing partners and clients on the value of working with TaxTaker as their proactive and dedicate tax incentive partner.
