Angelina DiPreta

Angelina is a Principal at Maveron, where she focuses on consumer AI. She has led and been deeply involved in investments including Canva, Runway, and /Essor, and extensively evaluated & built relationships with others including Perplexity, Udio, Pix AI, Promise AI, Luma Labs, etc. She is passionate about supporting visionary founders building phenomenal consumer AI businesses at the application layer and firmly believes that consumer AI is the inflection point that consumer founders & investors have been waiting for since the birth of internet & mobile. She previously worked in Product at /Essor building their first genAI-enabled initiative called Main Image Optimization that built prompts behind diffusion models for product listing imagery. She attended Dartmouth College and majored in Engineering and Chinese. She was born and raised on the East Coast, but lived in San Francisco the past 7 years and loves exploring California through hiking, cycling, downhill skiing, wine tasting in Napa and cooking with California-grown produce. She is a lifelong tennis player, aspiring surfer, and loves all things Italy.
