Amos Fodchuk

Educator. ALP President. Lover of Music, Forests and Owls.

A career educator who has served in Canada, South Korea, China and the United States, I'm the Founder and President of Advanced Learning Partnerships. My passion for travel, diverse pedagogies and sustainable organizational change inform my perspective on education systems and their relationship to community and democratic citizenship.

I strive to lead and serve through three key drivers. I seek opportunity for authentic, long-standing partnerships with organizations committed to achieving learner-centered outcomes at scale. I reserve substantial time to engage with these partners and ALP teammates around the honest, complex work required to actualize these partnerships. These experiences enable me shape emerging trends, opportunities and policy considerations that maximize the success of current and future partnerships.

When I'm not immersed in these pursuits, you can find me trail running in North Carolina forests. I have a fascination with diverse species of owls that should be avoided as a topic of conversation for those without hours of free time. I love live music and roundly appreciate musical genres as eclectic as Ethiopian jazz, American bluegrass, Japanese and Thai punk to psychedelic country, Gordon Lightfoot and Lana Del Rey.

Above all these things, I'm inspired by and in love with my wife and business partner, Katy, our children, Ansel and Evie, and our unconditionally loyal retriever, Jasper.
